Fitness + Friends = HAPPINESS

Yesterday women around the globe celebrated National Women’s Health & Fitness Day. It’s celebrated every year on Sept. 25. And as I worked out, with my friends, it dawned on me that when I work out with a group of people (whether it be ladies or both men and women), I tend to work out HARDER. There is something to be said about working out in a group setting. It’s as if we push ourselves to get into a yoga pose we never thought we could – maybe it’s to prove to ourselves that we CAN do it, or maybe we think, “If she can do that pose, well, so can I!” Either way, working out with friends is a great way to stay motivated and on track with your overall health and fitness. And even though the “national” day has passed, please don’t let that hold you back. Life is too short and we only have one life to live — give it your all EVERYDAY!
