While it may not feel like spring in Ohio – or anywhere in the United States since we have been overcome with COVID-19 news/images all day and night, I wanted to take a moment and give thanks for the new season.
Spring is often a time of renewal. A time when we can make a fresh start. As the trees start to bud and flowers start to blossom, we need to remember that we too are allowed to start over too. Maybe you have been putting off trying yoga (or any type of exercise), but as many Americans are either working from home or being forced to not work, now is the perfect time to try a few simple yoga poses such as Child’s Pose, Happy Baby, or even the Warrior Pose. Or, if yoga is something you already do, why not get outside and take a walk through one of Lorain County’s Metro Parks. Getting exercise or taking a walk can do wonders for your mind, body and soul.
Till next time – Tessa
